400twin Hosts Seminar on Creating an Effective Luxury Online Presence

NEW YORK (Nov. 7, 2007) – Brand and marketing consultancy 400twin will hold a one-day seminar titled “Beyond e-Commerce: Using the Web to Engage Customer Relationships,” from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday, Jan.11 at the Hotel Giraffe, 365 Park Avenue South, Manhattan.

The seminar will examine the role of the Web in building a luxury brand and provide participants with specific advice on providing luxury customers with the top-notch online experience they expect. Attendees will learn how their customers are using the web and what brands must include to create meaningful online experiences. 400twin will guide participants through specific tactics for developing a more seamless mix between online and offline marketing and sales channels.

“The luxury brand segment is made up of demanding consumers who expect the best of everything, all the time. And the expectations extend beyond the product to the entire experience – including the online interaction,” said Suzanne Hader, principal of 400twin. “Through a mix of hands-on planning, exercises and roundtable discussions, marketing and sales leaders will learn how to take better advantage of this powerful medium.”

New York-based 400twin provides expert evaluation, strategic direction and tactical planning to enable high-end brands to achieve “brand-devotional” behavior among their customers. The firm serves clients in the beauty, fashion, travel and hospitality industries, working to establish their brands as unequivocally luxurious in the minds of a discriminating and thoughtful market segment.

The seminar, designed to inform marketing and online/e-commerce executives, as well as those responsible for customer experience creation, will cover topics such as the 10 problems with luxury online presence; eight ways to better accommodate customers online; the difference between online selling and marketing; six things to do – and not to do – with your Web site; and planning your online strategy.

The seminar costs $850 per person; lunch will be provided. Space is limited, so prompt registration is requested. Registration closes Dec. 28. For more information about 400twin and the seminar, including the full brochure, visit www.400twin.com.
