400twin Studies to Offer Insights on Luxury Customer Behaviors
NEW YORK (Oct. 29, 2007) – New York-based brand and marketing consultancy 400twin (www.400twin.com) is designing three studies on the behaviors of luxury customers, and has opened them to category-exclusive sponsorships.
One study will use ethnography to discover how consumers interact with, understand and use luxury brands. The other two will focus on customer characteristics and purchasing processes in the luxury beauty category.
“The luxury market has a tremendous and growing allure for many businesses – not surprising given estimates of consumer spending in this category of $220 billion, and an average annual growth rate of 10 percent,” said 400twin Principal Suzanne Hader. “To successfully carve out a piece of it requires marketers to bring deeper insights into what motivates customer behaviors and relationships with luxury brands. These studies are designed to help them get there.”
The sponsored studies give participants a share of the study in exchange for brand specific research and complete access to the research results. Results will provide marketers with exclusive intelligence to support strategies that will help them connect more effectively with luxury customers. Participant recruitment will be geared toward consumers willing to discuss the sponsors’ brands.
Sponsors receive a presentation and final report that includes analysis, interpretations and recommendations, plus transcripts from research related to their portion of the study. Complete study reports will be available only to brands that participate through sponsorship.
“This is a way to gain specific, objective information about today’s luxury customers, including ways to best influence what’s an increasingly fragmented market segment,” said Hader.
Sponsorship opportunities for each study are limited. For more information about 400twin and the study, visit www.400twin.com, or contact Suzanne Hader at +1 212.731.2460 x 101 or email shader@400twin.com.
